Working draft. This is a complete, good-faith draft written to match exactly what CareNetwork does today - it is not yet reviewed by a lawyer and must not be treated as final or legally binding until it is.
CareNetwork is a booking platform that connects you with independent home-care agencies and individually-registered care providers ("Providers"). CareNetwork is not itself a hospital, clinic, or medical provider, does not employ Providers directly, and does not practice medicine. Care is delivered by the agency or Provider you book, under their own professional judgment and licensing.
You must provide accurate registration details and are responsible for activity under your account. If you add family members to your Care Circle or manage bookings on someone else's behalf, you confirm you're authorized to do so and to share their information with the assigned agency/Provider for the purpose of delivering care.
Prices, packages, and availability are set by each agency, not by CareNetwork. Payments are processed by Razorpay; CareNetwork never stores your card, UPI, or bank details. A booking is only confirmed once payment is verified - you'll always see a clear confirmed/pending status, never a silent assumption. Any convenience fee, GST, and commission shown at checkout is disclosed before you pay.
You can cancel a pending or confirmed booking yourself, directly in the app, any time before a provider has arrived. Once a provider has clocked in, cancellation is no longer available in-app - contact us instead. If you had already paid, the assigned agency will follow up with you directly about a refund; refunds are handled by the agency, not issued automatically by CareNetwork.
Agencies and Providers go through a verification step before being marked "Verified" in the app (badge shown on their profile). CareNetwork does not independently re-verify every credential an agency submits and cannot guarantee the ongoing conduct of any agency or Provider - if something feels wrong during a visit, use the in-app SOS button or contact support immediately.
CareNetwork facilitates scheduled and on-demand home care. It is not a substitute for emergency medical services. In a medical emergency, contact local emergency services (dial 112 in India) directly first - the in-app SOS button alerts your care agency, it does not dispatch an ambulance.
Don't use CareNetwork to book care for anyone without their knowledge and consent (or, for a dependent, without proper authority to act on their behalf), submit false information, or attempt to circumvent in-app payment for a booking made through the platform.
CareNetwork's role is to connect you with independent agencies and facilitate booking, payment, and visit logging. To the extent permitted by law, CareNetwork is not liable for the acts or omissions of independent agencies/Providers; your agreement for the care itself is with the agency you book.
Vault is a self-tracking tool for your own medicines: prescriptions, reminders, purchase receipts, and health records you enter yourself. It is not reviewed by a doctor or pharmacist and is not connected to any prescription written by a booked Provider - it is an organizational aid, not medical advice. This app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Always follow your prescribing doctor's or pharmacist's instructions over anything shown in Vault.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
Account details (name, phone, email); booking and care-recipient details you enter; health-related entries you or your care team log (vitals, medication, meals, handover notes) tied to a specific booking; in the Vault tab, health data you enter yourself and nothing else - prescriptions, dosages, reminder times, purchase receipts, vitals readings, and any photos or documents you attach; location data only where a feature needs it (e.g. verifying a Provider actually arrived on-site); and payment confirmation details from Razorpay (not your card/bank numbers - Razorpay handles those directly).
Your health and booking data is visible only to: you, anyone you've explicitly added to your Care Circle, and the specific agency/Provider assigned to that booking - access is scoped per-booking, not "every agency can see every customer." Vault data is different: it is visible only to you, full stop - no agency or Provider automatically sees it, unless a dose you confirm in Vault happens to be logged during a visit you have in progress, in which case that single dose (not your full Vault history) appears on that visit's shared care log. We never sell personal or health data to anyone, for any reason.
The in-app support chat and Vault's prescription/receipt scanning use Google's Gemini AI to help answer questions and read photos. Chat messages (including your name, Care Circle relationships, and booking/provider details relevant to your question) and the text recognized from a scanned prescription or receipt (not the photo itself) are sent to Google for this purpose. This is the one case where account or health-adjacent data leaves CareNetwork's own systems.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to any record is controlled at the database level by who's actually party to that booking, not just hidden in the app's screens. Payment card/bank details are never handled or stored by CareNetwork at all - that happens entirely inside Razorpay's own secured checkout.
We use Google Analytics to understand overall app and website usage (such as which pages/screens are opened and how often), so we can improve the product. This is aggregate usage data, not the health information you or your care team enter - that data is never shared with Google or any analytics service.
Booking and care-log history is kept so you can review past visits and download invoices. If you delete your account, we remove personal data within a reasonable period except where we're required to retain records (e.g. payment records, for tax/legal purposes).
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time via the contact below, or from Profile → Help & support in the app. Deleting your account does not retroactively remove records an agency is independently required to keep for regulatory reasons.
CareNetwork accounts are for adults booking care for themselves or a dependent (e.g. an elderly parent, or a child under their guardianship) - the platform itself is not directed at use by children.
